## What it is

Architecture Studio ships as a single plugin with host-native packaging. It installs as `as`: use `$<skill>` in Codex or `/as:<skill>` in Claude Code. One install brings all 61 shared skills; as of 1.5.0 every skill is a complete specification the host performs with its own tools, with no bundled script to run. Claude Code also registers the eight bundled native agents, Norma among them, and four hook handlers; Codex’s `$studio` dispatcher composes the same underlying skills without registering Claude-only automation.

Upgrading from 1.4: new studios and projects use CSV registers (DOCUMENTS, TASKS, TIME, INVOICES, CHANGES) in place of the 1.4 Markdown task and time logs. Existing workspaces are not converted; keep a 1.4 workspace on 1.4.5 until you set it up again with 1.5. See the [install guide](/docs/installing-architecture-studio).

## Install

**Codex (terminal):**

```
codex plugin marketplace add AlpacaLabsLLC/skills-for-architects
codex plugin add as@skills-for-architects
```

Then invoke `$studio` and describe what you need, `$tool-catalog` for the full menu, or `$learn` for the guided course.

**Claude Desktop:**

1. Open **Customize** → **Browse plugins**
2. Click **+** → **Add marketplace from GitHub**
3.  Enter `AlpacaLabsLLC/skills-for-architects`
4.  Install **Architecture Studio**

**Claude Code (terminal):**

```
claude plugin marketplace add AlpacaLabsLLC/skills-for-architects
claude plugin install as@skills-for-architects
```

Then type `/as:studio` and describe what you need — the router hands off to the right agent or skill. Or `/as:tool-catalog` for the full menu. New to Claude Code entirely? Start with [`/as:learn`](/skills/learn).
